Me being temp banned was because someone had reported me for op farming on a fantasy world. Admin failed to actually check the op names - I razed my own ops around my colony:-/
Ban was lifted as soon as said admin came online and noticed their mistake. On top of that, I was given a certain amount of tokens for the troubles.
So, you could say, it pays off to be a cheater like me =)

Really like the thread idea, but I’ll give my take on it. I prefer to lead so my scope is somewhat limited here and there are many amazing leaders I’ve never played under.
Slayer - Was extremely cool-headed and kept us in positions to come back even when the odds were stacked against us. Some of the most fun eras against Traj and POB
Crazytarget - His love for war will keep you entertained all era. Just be ready to Yolo from time to time.
Alfie - His ability to manage an era and account for most details and situations is impressive.
Seaweed - In his words, we just have fun.

Seaweed just have fun is an thought of a JW era and end up going ftw at rank 7 and killing all 6 teams above us. @Alfie will agree to this

Kodak/ Gavin : Chilled like ice water in any situation , always have a way to make things interesting and keeping an eye at every teammate and making them work and bring the best out of them.
Lamp : There is no quitting with her , u can either leave team and relax but she would try to carry it as long as she can. also calm is any situation.
Eddie : U may never win an era with him , might wakeup next day with whole word attacking cause he got drunk and abused other alliance leaders. But the fun u will have playing in his team cannot be matched with anyone else.
Greeny : Probably hated by 90% of the community and admins but a fun and very protective leader , and u dont need to hold back in battlefield or verbally ,Leaving any team to join his team is like moving from seria A to bundesliga all focus on offense , miss him not played an era with him for 2 years unless we count BDEA.
Psi/Leo : Havent played many eras with them but the few i got to join them i do love that they can carry the team by themselves no matter how outnumbered it is.
PS/Zain : Played a good number of eras with them in last year , gotta admit they command a strong support and have a lot of experienced players in their squad who can solo carry a front by themselves. plus PSs cockyness of sending open invitations to people that i am planting on XYZ server and come kick my ass only adds to the fun.
Skip , Dane , Malice, Mrid are a few leaders whome i played a little bit with and against and it was all a good learning experience and all respect to them for being good leaders. Also from one E1 i got to support Milan against TLA was very impressed how he kept an eye on his subs allies and even the squads of any trolls fighting for him and kept calling anyone and everyone under threat.

Blackhawk: He was first my enemy and great combatant and strategist, but convinced me to join his alliance for the next two eras. Led his alliance to victory for 3 eras in a row.

A story I can tell since its more than a decade after the fact, Blackhawk (and @Gaurav thank you for reminding me of his actual name, the only time I used it was on the phone call) upon me joining his alliance in the new era. Called me personally and thanked me for joining him, since in the previous era I was the military powerhouse of my alliance and were responsible for the victories that alliance had. He was stunned to hear I had done all that without any boosts, and gave me his credit card info to get a starting boost just because he was sure Id be able to dominate with that early game advantage. (Our alliance won that round, and I was the #1 player at the end of it)

always had some magic diplo and friends somewhere on the map u.u
it was usually winning in luxury
i played once under murija he was also really good made good plans
yozius was good leader but the team we played in lol… it was stacked with pros idk how we woulda lost u.u it was also dead era. what i liked about him was how he moved our armies u.u
asarum was pretty good but he sometimes went inactive
