BattleDawn Championship Era 3

Super amused that everyone is even arguing over it when Nopy has already said he had approval from admins beforehand…

… and people are still saying he was cheating by doing it… lolwut

It’s my understanding from reading through this and also having been on both sides of the ingame conflict that is ongoing, that the overall argument here is not so much caught up in Nopy, he is merely the example that is being thrown up.

They’re saying he’s cheating because, coming from their perspective, the rules of CE were supposed to be more stringent than they typically are, and so I think the expectation here was that there should be no grey area. Nopy’s argument here is a grey area, no matter how far to one side of that spectrum it may be, its still not white or black. A judgment call was made here by the admins, and whether it was Nopy or someone else, we were kinda led to believe that - especially with the rule changes allowing planters and spammers to eliminate judgment calls - there would be no judgment calls like this in this era, it would be clear cut and easy to understand rules that everyone would have to follow equally in order to compete in CE.

This wholly introduced grey area now being supported by the admins is creating a situation where each colony will have to be assessed on a case by case basis of which ones were inactive enough to qualify.

How inactive is inactive enough? If that guy had 1 more battle, would he still be farmable? Or is it like 50 more battles? That’s not defined, and the rules need to be defined. Now, I would also argue from Nopy’s perspective that in his case that guy really did nothing, and the loss of a whole player for all these ticks and all these wars mounts to a collective gigantic loss for that team even with the XP he got from it. So really I am fine if we allow it, but then right now we need to define what this rule is, and what your stats have to be in order to cross the line into not farmable, or perhaps how many ticks offline, or some combination of both.

If you are not willing to write this rule down so that we can all follow it, then there is no common rule base for the different teams in CE and thats not really acceptable, to be honest.

Like I’ve stated before there’s really more to it that I just cannot say for the sake of other things.

Yes there is more, get people to plant, make units and tell them to go inactive for 400 ticks so you can farm them “legally”. That’s all there is to it.

@Malicewolf @Alexander @Simmen Will this be legal ?

Whatever ensures that it doesnt look like farming in the eyes of admins.

Doesn’t this basically imply as long as admins are unable to catch you, it’s legal ?
Kind of like stealing is not going to be illegal as long as you know how to hack the security footage…

i mean can u prove it who stole it if there is no witness or footage??

If you can prove me ever exchanging a message with that guy I will disband my army on the spot so get out of bere with your bs all of you. Actually dumb af both your arguments and you fits. There is no “will this be legal” to it cus thats not the fking case and we both know it. That doesn’t change the fact that you’re missing a lot more factors here.

Nopy if you’re unwilling to share these other details then we don’t fucking care about them.

This is like if you were being accused of murdering someone because the cops had evidence that led them to believe so. Yet you had an airtight alibi proving you didn’t do it. But you refuse to tell the police your alibi because of “a lot of factors”. The police will act based on the evidence they have. If they are wrong then you could easily prove to them they are wrong… but you just aren’t.

Just going to ignore my question asking you to actually clear up this whole grey area? You guys need to come up with actual defined rules and not just run this shit case by case. That causes grey areas and inconsistencies just like this one.

so according to nopy i can invite a guy, tell him to make units and then ill tell him not to log for 400 ticks so i can xp farm him and that’s legal?

never invited the guy, never told him to make units and never told him not to log lol so don’t come here saying “according to nopy” you dummy.

No you’re just ignorant as shit and even if I were to share them you’d still continue to be ignorant and find an excuse for literally every minor detail. In this case I told the “police” you’re not the police you dimwit. Please prove how on earth you’re the police here :joy:

Chill kiddo, this has nothing to do with you, you are just the one abusing it. This has more to do about the specific rule that was made about farming your allies.

Again there’s so much more to it then you could even imagine. But go with whatever helps you sleep at night I guess lol.

no there isn’t, they are your allies that are helping you in war, they lost quite a number of members in this war and you decided to farm the rest what’s left.

I mean Mine helped HINI in a prior war and 2 of them were farmed…others were asked to be farmed even during war, Joe’s and I had to say no while I was still in Mine
