did you get rid of cancer?

Yeap, just over 3 years in remission. It fucked me up a bit mentally, but I’m past the constant anxiety of losing everything I worked hard for  Therapy works :stuck_out_tongue:

I felt a disturbance in the force and knew to come back to BD for one final event. We’ve got the band back together. I have seen the light. (Blues Brothers reference)

Posting this here since it’s the most relevant thread.

Had a bunch of medical tests run last week; good news is I don’t have cancer again. Bad news is that I have my 2nd major bloodclot in under 4 years (inferior vena cava for the curious). Basically it feels like the muscles below my waist literally are unable to move and walking 20 steps makes them burn like I’ve run a marathon. Recovery is fairly straightforward with bloodthinners, but RIP half of my physical contact hobbies.

So throwback to this past August when I had the opportunity to go rock-climbing at one of the best National Parks in the USA, Acadia, in Maine. Grateful I seized the opportunity while I had it.
